We are very proud of the service we offer to terminally ill patients, we work to the Gold Standard Palliative Care Framework.

Dr Gibbins is the lead GP in palliative care.

We have a dedicated District Nursing team who are based at Oaks Park Primary Care Centre who look after palliative patients in their final weeks of life. Monthly meetings are held with the Palliative Team, District Nurses and Macmillan Nurses to discuss various care plans and social needs for our patients.

We have our Palliative Care Coordinator, Ruth Nowodny. The dedicated members of staff are assigned to co-ordinate with all medical and social services who look after patients with terminal needs. These include the local Macmillan services and the hospice to maintain a high standard of terminal care.
